The design of the RX100 III is characterized by a versatile fixed lens in renowned ZEISS quality. Up to 9 aspherical lens elements, including two AA (Advanced Aspherical) lenses, reduce the size of the entire lens unit. The excellent optical performance is retained. The 24mm wide-angle extends the shooting range and is ideal for architectural and landscape photography, while 70mm with a F2.8 bright focal length is great for portraits, close-ups (30cm spacing) and creative background blurs. The lens also has a built-in 1/8 ND filter that can be used to adjust the exposure for handling bright scenes in 3 EV step equivalents. (Note: The specifications for 24-70 mm and 35 mm are equivalent).
Detail rendering and diffraction reduction
Two new technologies bring the full power of sensor and lenses to their best advantage. Detail rendering technology prevents outlines from being over emphasized, which is a problem with most digital images. The diffraction reduction suppresses diffraction effects, which are the reason that light spots are blurred, especially with small apertures (large F numbers). Due to the consideration of the aperture setting, this technology restores points of light and the smallest details, for beautiful landscapes and portraits and much more.
Area Specific Noise Reduction
Area-specific noise reduction is now more powerful than ever. It selectively divides the image into areas based on patterns (such as edges, textures, and areas of even colors, such as a blue sky), and then applies the most appropriate noise reduction to improve image quality, especially at high sensitivity settings for the individual areas. Together with the detailed reproduction of Sony so extraordinarily clear, detailed pictures are achieved.

At the end of the minimum rental period, you can keep renting on a monthly basis for the same price or cancel your subscription by returning your device for free.

Don’t worry, we want you to enjoy your products as though they were yours. Small scratches and normal signs of use will be cleaned after return for free. In case of severe signs of wear, such as display breakage, Grover Care covers 90% of the repair costs. Yes, 100% of your monthly payments go towards the purchase of the product. You have two options, depending on when you choose to buy. The first options is to rent for long enough that you can buy your product for a symbolic one Euro payment. The exact duration depends on the product and your chosen minimum rental period, and will be displayed at checkout, as well as in your customer account dashboard. The second option is to buy it earlier by paying all of the remaining rent payments at once.
