Well, first up, the Roborock S6 MaxV is fitted with dual cameras, so it sees any obstacles that it might find in its path. Not only that, but thanks to infrared imaging, it can see in the dark, too. It’s packed with ReactiveAI technology as well to provide Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance. Before you even get your hands on it, the Roborock is already trained to recognises thousands of normal household objects that it knows to avoid, whether spare socks or pesky wires.

All at the touch of a button

You control the robot through the Roborock app, available on basically all smartphones. But what can you actually do? Well, loads, really. First up, you can set routes and schedules for it – want it to mop your bathroom more than it hoovers your bedroom? No problem, just tell it that. Or perhaps you’re heading home from vacation and really want the house to be freshly cleaned when you arrive – just pick up your phone and make it go. There are plenty of other control elements also.
