The small and mighty Korg MS-20 synthesizer
Vintage analog audio and intuitive controls
The Korg MS-20 is a plug-in synthesizer engineered to deliver the same tones as the original 1970s MS-20 in a more compact package. The keyboard contains analog circuitry enhanced with a whole patch panel of possibilities, so those classic sounds are always within reach. A pair of oscillators extend the range of tones and pitches, while a noise generator adds detail to your tracks.
A large, well-spaced keyboard
The MS-20 has a three-quarter size keyboard to fit in with its compact aesthetic, but the keys are large enough to use comfortably. The play is swift and with less distance to cover, hand travel is minimized.
Try out the cool ESP effects
Whether you choose vocals or an instrument as your input, the external signal processor picks up on volume or pitch to manipulate the audio output. Electric guitars transform the MS-20 into a guitar synthesizer and if you hook up a mic, you have a vocal synthesizer.
Is the Korg MS-20 polyphonic?
No, you can only play one of the Korg MS-20’s thirty-seven keys at a time, so it’s considered to be a monophonic keyboard.
Does the MS-20 have a sequencer?
To produce or play original sequences, you can use a Korg SQ-1 step sequencer. If you already have sequencer software on your PC, there’s a USB-MIDI connector, so you can just plug it in and play.
