How to find the right iPhone 15 model for you

The new iPhone 15 series was recently released and is ready to rent from Grover. The question that remains is: Which model is right for you? You can find an overview of the new features and the differences between the models here.

What's new with the iPhone 15?

The iPhone 15 comes in four variants: iPhone 15, iPhone Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. This time, the latest generation of the classic iPhone has features that were previously only available on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Chief among these is the Dynamic Island. With the Dynamic Island, you can display current activities directly at the top of the screen—regardless of whether you are on the home screen or in an app. Another key feature is the charging port. With the iPhone 15, Apple is now switching its smartphones to a USB-C port.

Apple also has something for real gaming fans. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max come equipped with the A17 Pro chip with 6-core GPU. The improved graphics performance and higher speed are ideal for mobile games in particular.

Color-wise, Apple has opted for pastel colors for the new generation. You’ve got the choice between blue, pink or rosé, yellow, green and black. The Pro version is then available inL: titanium natural, titanium blue, titanium white and titanium black.

Key differences between models

Price

The iPhone 15 series is cheaper in many markets than last year’s iPhone 14. Here you can save between €50 and €150 on your purchase. The standard version of the iPhone 15 starts at a price of €949 for 128 GB storage and rises to €1,329 with 512 GB storage.

The iPhone 15 Plus starts at €1,099 with 128 GB. The 512 GB variant costs €1,479. The iPhone 15 Pro is exactly €100 more expensive than the Plus in all variants.  The iPhone 15 Pro is also available with 1 TB of storage space for €1,829. The iPhone 15 Pro Max starts with 256 GB of storage space and costs €1,449. The 1 TB version scratches the €2,000 mark with a price of €1,949.

However, if you stream a lot online and use iCloud to store your pictures and videos, 128 GB of storage space is more than enough. You should consider a larger memory if you prefer to store your files locally on your smartphone.

Want to test the new iPhone without the purchase price? No problem. At Grover you can adjust the rental period to suit you.

Display and size

The display is the same size as the iPhone 14. Nothing has changed here. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro again come with a 6.1-inch display. The iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max impress again with a 6.7-inch display. However, there is one new feature: the brightness of the iPhone 15 is now also 2,000 nits.

Although the display size of the new iPhone generation is unchanged, there is a small but significant difference in the weight of the iPhone 15. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are a few grams lighter than their counterparts in the 14 series.

Camera

Is photography your passion? Then you should take a closer look at the iPhone 15 Pro or the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Here you have a 3x or 5x zoom and can enjoy an improved cinema mode, as well as other useful features. If you don't necessarily need the very highest resolution for your pictures, the iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus with its 48 MP main camera is perfectly adequate.

Battery

You don't have to worry about an empty battery with the iPhone 15. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 come with a battery life of 23 and 20 hours respectively. Enough time to use your iPhone all day long. To be on the safe side, the iPhone 15 Pro Max or the iPhone 15 Plus with a battery life of 29 and 26 hours respectively is a good choice.

The choice is yours

So, that was a brief overview of the iPhone 15 range. The only questions now are: Which model will you choose? And for how long will you rent it for?
