Grover it: Our 2022 in Spain

More and more people are moving towards renting instead of buying, supporting the circular economy and reducing electronic waste. Grover is becoming a reality in Spain.

As a whole in 2022, more people were renting more products—and for longer. In fact, our data indicate that while the first rental usually has an average duration of 10 months, for the second it rises to 11 months. 

In terms of age groups, the majority of people part of our renting movement are between 18 and 32 years old (60%), while 31% are between 33 and 47 years old. The younger group tends to opt for computers, consoles, drones and music equipment, while the next age group opts for mobiles, tablets or sports watches. 

2022 has been a very special year for Grover in Spain. After launching in 2021, this was a year of consolidation. In Madrid, we opened our first physical space at WOW Concept, where thousands of people could see, touch and experience what Grover is. 

And at the end of the year we launched our first television campaign: Grover it (Hazte un Grover). With it we managed to reach millions of homes and show different examples of this new way of consuming technology. 

This is just the beginning! We’re sure that 2023 will be a year when even more people get to know Grover, what we do, and join our movement of flexibly renting technology.
